Valley REC is an electric distribution cooperative serving nearly 22,000 members in eight central Pennsylvania counties (Bedford, Blair, Centre, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata and Mifflin). The cooperative was incorporated on Nov. 1, 1938. Electric service was first provided on Nov. 17, 1939.
